Wednesday night saw
our seminar in front of a packed audience of antique jewellery enthusiasts at The University Club located on campus at the University of Western Australia, a perfect environment for our unique presentation. For almost an hour third generation antique dealer Steven Sher talked about the styles, sentiments and materials used in jewellery from a range of historical periods: Georgian, Victorian, Arts and Craft, Art Nouveau, Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro and Vintage. Each period has a distinguishable and significant style that allows us to define that particular era. After the slide show presentation our guests had the opportunity to view and try on a wide variety of truly exquisite antique pieces from different periods beautifully displayed in the venue.
